Jerry Parr — Founder and CEO

Jerry Parr brings more than five decades of experience in Head Start and early childhood education, including executive leadership, national monitoring, funding strategy, program improvement, and international engagement.

His work is grounded in a practical, forensic approach: connecting information across systems, identifying what is driving a problem, and helping programs move from repeated interventions to clearer, more effective action.

Jerry has served Head Start and Early Head Start programs in roles ranging from classroom and program leadership to Executive Director of Early Childhood for the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians. He has participated in federal monitoring work since 1990 and has supported programs across the United States with Community Assessments, funding applications, monitoring readiness, workforce strategy, governance, and complex organizational challenges.

His international work has included professional engagement in Scotland, England, Northern Ireland, Canada, New Zealand, Tanzania, Rwanda, Malaysia, and other settings. These experiences continue to strengthen his belief that effective early childhood systems depend on strong relationships, thoughtful leadership, and adults who feel supported in their work.
